AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

Michelle Freret Prather was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and now lives with her husband in Covington, just across Lake Pontchartrain. Michelle was an educator for twenty-five years and has a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Michelle has several rare conditions that eventually made it impossible for her to continue teaching. It was then that she started a website and blog dedicated to living well when you’re not.

Michelle is the author of My Family: A Window into the Secrets, Successes, and Sins of Early New Orleans and Beyond.
