What's included:

Following are the basic things we do as the traditional publisher (details will be included in your signed contract):

• Net royalty share of between 25% and 40%, depending on the author's marketing plan, estimated cost of production (such as if images are in the book), and genre.
• Option to purchase author copies for direct sales at a rate of cost plus 40% (generally $5-$8 per book)
• One round of light copy editing
• Original cover design for which we welcome author input
• Interior formatting coordinating with the cover to prepare the manuscript for print
• Printed proof(s)
• A PDF Advanced Reader Copy/Galley
• One round of proofreading
• Allowance for changes requested by the author to correct typographical errors and improve visual and reading appeal, provided they are reasonable and do not require significant time to make them, up until the time of publication
• An ISBN listing Legacy Book Press LLC as the publisher of record
• Copyright registration with the Library of Congress listing author as copyright holder
• Distribution of the print book through Amazon and/or IngramSpark
• Ebook formatting
• Ebook distribution through Amazon and/or Draft 2 Digital
• Listing of the announcement of publication on Legacy Book Press social media channels
• A dedicated book section/page on the Legacy Book Press website
• Sharing information regarding appearances, reviews, or other announcements of note regarding the author and/or his/her book(s) as time permits on LBP social media and the website.
• Inclusion in any Legacy Book Press overall marketing efforts and promotion
• Access to a book marketing resources page only for LBP authors
• Optional: Purchase of print Advanced Reader Copies/Galleys or review copies prior to publication at cost
• Optional: Purchase of author copies at the rate of cost plus a percentage approximately a month prior to publication and at any time thereafter for which the author retains all proceeds from any direct sales
